In Post Present Future, I invite readers to confront the lingering presence of apartheid in our everyday lives and question the comfort of forgetting. Through personal histories, artistic interventions, and dialogue, I challenge the idea that apartheid exists only in the past, revealing its continued psychological, social, and political effects. My work disrupts fixed museum narratives by centring overlooked, lived experiences and creating space for discomfort, reflection, and critical engagement. By linking past, present, and future, I seek to unfreeze history and expose the ongoing inequalities and injustices that shape contemporary South Africa.
